Ade and Al keeping the Dream Alive

With Jon in Auss, Julie nursing a rugby injury and everyone else either mud-shy or lightless Ade and Al geared-up (below) and set off from Nywood, through South Harting and on up to the downs.

Travelling east we tackled the sharp series of climbs and descents on the way to Elsted and a new pub for Al to tick off. We arrived at either the Three Horseshoes or the Elsted Inn (remind me Ade, Ed.). Beer served straight from the cask we plumped for the obvious choice - the local Ballards. The return route of this relatively short route was road-based, via East Harting and back to Ades for a pizza and a commemorative snap (below).

Golly, that has to be the most exciting blog yet! I'm glad you're keeping up all that good work!
Mind you I can't talk, I let my robot talk fritter away to almost nothing. I handed the final report in about three weeks ago so I'm finally study free. Will post a comment when I get some photos of the final (unfinished) product loaded...

God dam Ade, that sure is a sexy bike! Glad to see the TCA plumbers tape still in use for battery attachment.

I have been sunning myself in Fiji the past week, its been so long since I mounted a bike...must try harder.

Simon I had all four wisdoms out about a month ago too. They put me under a general thank goodness. Still getting food stuck in the gaps?
Billy Bob how could you spy the tape holding the lights? I must be going (more) blind. What was Fiji like? And when are you coming up north to take on Woodhill Forest with my friends and I?

JLS - Maybe not so "exciting" (Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, so they say) for you. But at least we got out eh? And for me it was (1) a new route and (2) a new pub, if they had (3) a new beer that would have been the TCA holy trinity! 2 out of 3 ain't bad, in fact it's positively exciting!

lashings of humble pie indeed. Now then Ju's little sister I have found your email and will be in touch shortly re: the Woodhill Challenge!-Bring it on.

Fiji was hot and quiet - no military coup, i think Tonga had that instead.

P.S. Like the logo - not as good as the Eurofighter though:0)
